Before there was a company, there were two soldiers learning what it means to be counted on.
Brandon and Stephanie Bamba met in the Army. No lightning bolt across a crowded room, just a teammate named Bamba and a teammate named Young, building trust the slow way: long days, hard tasks, rep after rep. Then a deployment to Iraq together, leading a team with no safety net. Out there, reliability stops being a word on a resume. It’s whether the person beside you shows up, every single time, when everything is on the line. They did, for each other. Friendship quietly turned into forever, and nobody who knew them was surprised.
Home brought their daughter, Haven Rose, and a new definition of success: being there. And when Stephanie lost her father, a New York State Trooper who answered the call at Ground Zero, just two months after his diagnosis, they stopped waiting for someday.

Mission Commanders
Both Army. Both from here now for good. They run Space Heroes out of Huntsville and are raising their daughter Haven in the same neighborhoods the ships work.
Space Heroes is family-operated and a Grasshopper Group location. When something goes wrong on a job, the person who answers for it shares a last name with the sign on the ship.
The cape is the only thing about us that’s theatrical. The paperwork is precise, because this town reads it.
The space half is obvious. This is the town that builds rockets.
Space Camp raised the kids here. Redstone employs their parents. In a city that put machines on the moon, an astronaut at your door isn’t a costume. It’s a hometown character.
The heroes half is the promise. Nobody wants to be the hero at 9 PM with a dead AC and a crying baby. They want one at the door. The name is a commitment about who answers when you call, and it sets a bar we have to clear on every single visit. Kids hold us to it. So do their parents.
In a world of band-aid fixes and pushy replacement quotes, we do everything with the long term in mind.
That means telling you the truth about your system, even when the truth is a $180 repair instead of an $8,000 replacement. It means a correct diagnosis before a single part gets ordered, and seasonal Pre-Flight Checks that catch small problems while they’re still small. The goal isn’t to close a ticket. Our techs are licensed trades, background-checked and uniformed, and before the knock you get a text with your tech’s photo, name and ETA, so you always know exactly who’s at your door. And if something’s off after a visit, tell us. We’ll fix it fast, and the job isn’t done until it works and it’s clean.
