Every air quality service, one standard
Dust, pollen, pet dander, mould spores and whatever the cleaning cupboard is giving off all end up circulating through the same system that heats and cools the house. A filter catches some of it. The rest is a question of what the system is asked to do and how clean the path is.
The season
Why the Valley is harder than most
Two things stack here. Pollen season is long and heavy, and the humidity that makes an Alabama summer uncomfortable is the same humidity that lets mould grow on a cool coil in the dark. A system that is merely cooling and not properly drying the air leaves a house that reads the right temperature and still feels wrong — and smells it after a while.
