Who we are

Space Heroes Heating & Cooling is a residential heating and air conditioning company serving Huntsville, Madison and the Tennessee Valley, at 400 Slaughter Rd, Suite 308, Huntsville, AL 35758. This policy covers callspaceheroes.com and the ways we contact you about work on your home.

What we collect

We collect what we need to show up at the right house and do the work:

• Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address and service address.
• What you tell us about your system and your home, including notes, photos and the field reports from a visit.
• Job and billing records: estimates, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
• Website analytics: which pages you visited, roughly where you were, which site sent you here, and whether you tapped a phone number or started a form. This runs through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, so Google receives it too, and it sets cookies in your browser. It loads on every page here, including error pages, and it is not tied to your name. There is no cookie banner on this site today, so nothing asks you first: if you would rather not be measured, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or install Google’s official Analytics opt-out add-on. Either one works on its own and neither costs you any part of the site.
• Calls to the number on this site are handled by a call tracking service, which means the number shown to you may differ from the one we publish, and calls may be recorded for quality and training. Tell whoever answers if you would rather not be recorded.

How we use it

To schedule and run your visit, to reach you about it before and after, to quote and invoice the work, to answer questions, to ask for feedback, and to meet our legal and licensing obligations. If you have opted in to text messages, we also use your phone number for the messages described in our SMS terms and conditions.

Sharing

We will never share your contact information for marketing purposes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. There are three narrow exceptions:

• Where sharing is required by law, or in response to a lawful request from law enforcement.
• In connection with a business transfer or merger, where the receiving party is bound by this policy.
• With service providers who work on our behalf and only on our instructions. Today that means our scheduling software, our payment processor, our messaging provider, the call tracking service that connects your call, the form service that delivers what you send us from this site, and the workflow tool that routes it to the right person here. They may not use your information for their own purposes.

Text messages

Text messaging consent is never shared with third parties. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us, you can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can get help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, except where we are required to keep records of work performed. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP and out of email by using the unsubscribe link. You can opt out of the website analytics described above by blocking cookies for this site in your browser, or with Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on; we cannot switch it off from our end for one visitor, which is why the control is on your side. How long we keep it

Job and billing records are kept as long as our licensing, warranty and tax obligations require. Contact details are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can honour warranties and answer questions about past work.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Junior Space Hero certificates are handed to a child in person by their own parent or guardian; nothing about that is collected or stored.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes to how we use your contact information will be communicated before they take effect.
