Common furnace faults

Common furnace faults

  • Ignitor glows but the burners never light
  • Flame sensor dirty — lights, then drops out after seconds
  • Limit switch tripping on a dirty filter or blocked return
  • Draft inducer or pressure switch failure
  • Blower motor running hot, loud, or not at all
  • Control board faults and intermittent lockouts

How the visit runs

Gas work runs to the checklist

Anything involving combustion runs rigid: gas pressure verified, combustion checked, the heat exchanger inspected before we hand a furnace back. This is the part of the visit that is boring on purpose. The cape is playful; the paperwork is not.

Before the knock a Hero Card lands in your texts with your Space Tech's photo, name and a T-minus heads-up. The price goes in writing before work begins, and the job is done when the system works and the house is cleaner than we found it.

A cracked heat exchanger is a safety call. We will tell you plainly and we will not run the system.
